Industry Advocacy

AIMS Society members and staff are engaged in a number of other industry organizations and initiatives, including agent groups, risk management organizations, carrier associations and industry-wide working groups.

These include:

• Work to drive industry technology advances through the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America’s Agents Council for Technology.

• Activities to improve insurance supply change communication through ACORD Forms working groups.

• Initiatives to improve implementation and adoption of Real Time and Download through the industry-wide Real Time/Download Campaign and joint development work on the Real Time Makes Real $$$$$ sales and marketing guide.

• Support of agency and broker management system interface improvement work, through AUGIE, the ACORD-Users Groups Information Exchange.

• Direct involvement in peer-to-peer and partner support for agents and brokers using management systems, through national associations, including Applied Systems Client Network, Network of Vertafore Users, InStar and others.
